Elaine Lanoue
Artist's Statement/Quote
"My need to create and paint art is great and my joy comes when an individual "connects" with my artwork. I believe art is a form of communication and the colors and images I create are my words on canvas."
Elaine Lanoue has always had a great interest in other countries, other people, and other cultures. Her travels to Mexico, the Caribbean, the Yucatan, and Europe have had a profound influence on her work. Lanoue uses strong colors and bold designs to intuitively create her highly textured paintings. Lanoue's contemporary landscapes and figurative work reflect the joy she has in her work.
Lanoue has been featured in several editions of Who's Who in American Women (under the previous name of Elaine Rose.) She has won numerous juried art awards throughout the country, and Lanoue's paintings are included in many national and international corporate and private collections.
