Artist Loyal H. Chapmans lust for life is reflected
in his paintings which so deftly combine his love of golf with a love of our earths
infinitely varied beauty.
Loyal H. Chapman, a native of Minnesota began painting at
an early age and played his first round of golf at the age of 12. After serving in World
War II, Chapman attended the Walker Art School in Minneapolis, and later opened his own
art school.
Chapman has gained success in both the art and golf world.
His artwork has been featured in Golf Digest and Readers Digest magazines. As a
golfer, he has won several state tournaments and has been listed in Golf Digests top
ten senior amateurs.
