Recognized as a premier wildlife artist, Jerry Raedeke was
exploring the nuances of nature and painting his favorite subjects long before the genre
became universally popular. Today, the broad acceptance of his work can be traced to his
finely honed artistic skills combined with an instinctive feeling for the American
wildlife experience.
Raedekes wildlife art has recieved numerous awards
and honors, including Artist of the Year for the prestigious Southeastern Wildlife
Exposition.
Raedeke also supports many conservation efforts and
groups. He is a member and sponser of Ducks Unlimited and has donated more than 100
original paintings and 24,000 prints which have raised over $4,000,000 for DU waterfowl
restoration projects.
